Maude holds a history as long as her branches. For over 150 years, this mighty pecan tree has been the meeting place for friends, family, lovers, and strangers alike. She brings shade in the blaring Texas sun, makes music with her leaves in the soft breeze, and stands as a landmark for locals and newcomers.

Today, she stands as the soul of Maude’s Bar and Terrace restaurant, a gracious Southern host in her own right. Here, beneath her canopy, life slows to a comfortable rhythm. Fire pits glow as cocktails flow and music drifts through the air, glasses clink with handcrafted cocktails, and wood-fired flatbreads are shared among friends.
