MAKE SOME NEW FOUR-LEGGED FRIENDS

What would a ranch-style resort be without a herd of animals roaming around? The “mascots” in our Corral are as unique and interesting as our vast landscape, and they’re available for meet-and-greets every day! From Apache Dancer the miniature horse to Yogi the alpaca—as well as longhorns, because we’re in Texas, after all—you’ll meet plenty of four-legged friends at Lost Pines.

APACHE DANCER & LITTLE FEATHER

(Miniature Horses)

“Patch and Feather,” as they’re known, are a brother/sister duo with big hearts and a friendly way about them—they love being brushed and primped, and are great with visitors of all ages.

COTTON & EEYORE

(Miniature Sicilian Donkeys)

“Patch and Feather,” as they’re known, are a brother/sister duo with big hearts and a friendly way about them—they love being brushed and primped, and are great with visitors of all ages.

T-BONE, RIBEYE, CHUCK & BRISKET

(Longhorns)

Our famous longhorns include a mix of seniors and young-uns—T-Bone and Ribeye are both over 15, more than 10 years older than Chuck and Brisket. They all love making kids smile, though!

johnny, waylon, willie, & hank

(Goats)

If you hadn’t guessed already, our goats are named after a few country-music legends. Although they’re all quite youthful, fortunately they don’t have the same reputation for getting a bit wild!

boo boo, yogi, maui, & sonic

(Alpacas)

Don’t confuse alpacas with llamas—while they’re related, alpacas are usually noticeably smaller than their cousins and bred specifically for their fiber. Boo Boo and Yogi recently have been joined at Lost Pines by Maui and Sonic, who were both born in late 2022. They all communicate through body language and sounds, but they’ll also spit in self-defense from time to time!

HONEY & MAPLE

(Pigs)

Honey and Maple have been around so long, nobody is quite sure how old they are! What everyone does know, however, is that they bring plenty of joy to everyone who visits the Corral.
