Welcome to Hyatt Regency Lost Pines Resort and Spa! Located in the heart of Texas Hill Country, this family-friendly resort offers various activities that cater to every age group. Whether you're looking to relax and unwind in the beautiful natural surroundings or embark on an outdoor adventure, this resort has something for everyone. In this three-day itinerary, we have put together some of the best activities and experiences that Hyatt Regency Lost Pines has to offer. From horseback riding and nature walks to golfing and live music, get ready for an unforgettable family vacation at this stunning resort.

DAY ONE:

Start your day with a delicious stack of pancakes at the resort’s Firewheel Cafe, before heading to the nearby Renegade Trailhead for a scenic family horseback ride. Enjoy sweeping views of the Texas Countryside, before returning to the resort to change into swimsuits for the on-site Water Park.

Relax by the family-friendly pool in your private cabana and watch your kids soak up the Texas sun from our splash pad. Float the lazy river together on our inflatable tubes, before returning to your spacious suite to prepare for dinner and a movie together. Once your swimming adventures have worked up an appetite, head over to Maverick’s Roadhouse for a lunch of delicious Texan staples including Wagyu burgers, smoked gouda mac and cheese, and even kid-sized chicken fried steaks.

For an evening family activity, gather your family on our lawn to enjoy a family movie which is featured every night during the summer and on weekend evenings throughout the rest of the year. Finish off your day with a sweet treat at McDade's Emporium and Ice Cream Saloon. Or opt for a hands-on dessert, making s’mores as a family by picking up a kit at the front desk and heading out to the Riversong or Marverkick's fire pits.

DAY TWO:

Start your day with a family bike ride on one of the resort's nature trails, where you can spot local wildlife and take in the beautiful Texas Hill Country scenery.

After lunch at one of the resort's dining options, head to the on-site Corral to meet our resident cow, horses, longhorns, alpacas, and more. Take some fun family pictures and enjoy petting these furry friends.

Begin your evening enjoying the Maude’s Bar & Terrace. This indoor/outdoor venue oozes Southern hospitality with a delightful porch, fire pits, live music and craft refreshments the whole family can enjoy. After a pre-dinner sip, dine at the Fireweheel Buffet, which offers Smoke House buffets on Fridays and Steak & Seafood buffets on Saturdays. And if you are visiting over a big holiday weekend, stop into the Firewheel Buffet for a family fun-style buffet.

If your stay falls on a Saturday night, gather the kids at the Trapshooting Venue between 8:00 and 9:30 PM to enjoy a guided Stargazing activity. Gaze up at the night sky as you learn more about the constellations and stars that shine above.

DAY THREE:

Begin your day with a visit to Camp Hyatt, where the kids can participate in arts and crafts, scavenger hunts, and other fun activities, while parents escape for a relaxing couples massage at the on-site Lost Pines Spa.

In the afternoon, visit the on-property arcade for some classic games and healthy competition together, before hitting the courts for a game of tennis or pickleball. Familys are also welcome to partake in daily activities that spark creativity including chalk art, foil art, windchime making, and more!

Finish off your trip with a visit to the nearby McKinney Roughs Nature Park, where you can climb a 40-foot man-made rock climbing wall with scenic views.
